Managing connections

Opigno makes possible to manage your connections by clicking on the “Connections” button available on the homepage dashboard (if social wall is enabled) and on your user profile page

You will then arrive on the Connections management interface, allowing to:

invite new connections
manage incoming connection requests in order to accept/decline them
see your list of connections

In order to search new connections and invite them, you can use the search field, and, click on “Invite” button for the people you want to invite:

After being invited to connect by another user, you have the possibility to accept or decline the invitation.

From “Your connections” block you can see all your connections, contact them, and also remove connections by clicking on the “…” button on the right side and then on “Remove connection”.

Note about privacy

Your connections will see your posts on the social wall, but will also be able to see the following data on your user profile:

first name
last name
email
last connection date
certificates earned
the number of connections
the number of trainings completed, certificates received, badges earned, skills acquired
the trends

If you set your profile as private (from the https://opigno.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/OUM3/pages/2802943395 page), then the other users will only see your first name and last name.

Users that are not connected to you won’t see your posts, and will only see your first name and last name.
